When a group is created on Beincom, a chat channel is automatically created with all the members of that corresponding group, organized in an extremely convenient directory tree for easy access.
You can have direct one-on-one chats or create new unofficial chat channels on BIC Chat without having to create additional BIC Groups.
Threads Mechanism
On BIC Chat, messages are organized into Threads, where the first person to start the conversation initiates a Thread, and members continue the discussion within this Thread.
The Threads mechanism prevents messages from getting lost when too many people join the conversation, or allows multiple conversations on various topics to occur in parallel without cluttering the chat frame. You can follow or unfollow Threads to only receive notifications about the content you’re genuinely interested in.
